BE CAREFUL..

Crime is not a once in a blue moon event or something that happen to only REALLY unfortunate people anymore..
It's so common that almost everyone living here in Malaysia treats crime as a scar that will remain in their lives forever..
Don't you agree with me that the crime rates now in Malaysia is just shocking? We , especially girls can no longer roam the streets of Malaysia freely like how our aunts and uncles used to..
We have to be really paranoid, with a pepper spray or even two in our palms..

Newsflash, heard bout young girls with full of potential in life get raped by a gang of guys who can't control their lust??!?
Or even younger girls like Nurul Jazlin getting sodomized , murdered .. What the hell..

Not only that, are you aware of the number of houses getting broken into lately? Or cars stolen? Or bags snatched..??..

Here are some precautions everyone should take note of and start practicing.

For girls,
1. Don't carry striking and handbags that can catch attention. Or really branded bags when
you're going to not-so-sophisticated places.
2. Don't dress in a too revealing manner. It'll create unwanted lust in man with no self control.
3.Carry a pepper spray everywhere you go and hold it in your palms when walking alone or dangerous areas.
4.Avoid going out too much at night, especially midnight or times when those kind of guys are lurking around.
5.Try not to go anywhere alone. Always bring a friend or more along. Bad people usually prey on vulnerable girls who are alone.
6.Try not to wear too high heels when walking, in case you need to flee. If you are, quickly remove heels and run bare footed.
7. Don't always move around a certain area at a particular time. People notice and they tend to prepare themselves for your next expected arrival. So spice up your life by making your routine a variety! =)
8.Always go clubs or bars with a trustworthy person. Look out for each other and never leave your drinks unattended.

For your home,
1. When you're off for a long holiday, get your neighbor to help you collect your papers. Don't let it stack outside your house!
2. When you're out at night, don't open too many lights inside as it is easy for them to look through your things. If your indoor lights are switched off, they are afraid to switch it on as they might catch your neighbors attention.
3. Fix alarm when possible. And place the siren at a noticeable spot. Trust me. It'll scare the bad guys away.
4. Put a CCTV outside your house. If you can't afford a real one, even a fake one will do. Who knows right? I'm sure they don't want to risk themselves being caught in the act.

For your child, sibling or anyone in that age group.
1. Never allow them to slip out of your sight. Always have TWO eyes on them.
2. If they attend kindergarten, make sure they go to one which are responsible and looks after them well enough.
3. Pick them up for kindergarten or school as early as possible.
4. Don't let them lurk around your garden unattended.
5. Love them. That's they key.. When you love someone, you'll do anything in your instinct to make sure they're safe =)
